How long have you been playing basketball? – 7 years.

What made you start playing? – Looked like fun and I love to be competitive and shoot.

What do you love most about basketball? – The adrenaline rush. The satisfaction of hard work paying off and having fun.

What position do you feel most comfortable playing? -Small forward or shooting guard

What is your strongest basketball skill? – Shooting.

What skill are you working hardest to improve right now? – Finishing at the basket and ball handling.

How would Coach Malik describe your game? – Great shooter, versatile, need to be more aggressive.

What do you focus on before tip-off? – My mentality, concentrate on what I need to do to win. Lock in

How do you stay confident during a tough game?  Focus on the next play.

What does playing hard mean to you? – Putting in the work even when no one else is. Always giving 110% and always striving to get better.

What makes a great teammate?  – Always encouraging one another and holding each other accountable.

How do you contribute to your team even when you’re not scoring? – Rebounding, passing, defense, cheering my teammates on, setting screens.

Do you see yourself as a leader? Why or why not? – Yes because I always encourage others even when I’m having a bad game. I try to teach and help others get better as well as myself.

One goal you have for this season – To be more aggressive.

One long-term basketball goal – To get a basketball scholarship.

Why do you look up to that player? – Her handles, how she gets her shot off and she includes everyone. Her work ethic and her mentality.
